About Me
My name is Birgit, but feel free to call me Bee. My background includes personal training, Pilates, and of course, yoga for both mental and physical well-being. I’m currently studying to become a yoga therapist. Which inspires me to bring a whole-person, healing approach to everything I teach.
Embrace Your Uniqueness
I’ve noticed over my years of teaching that while we yoga instructors work hard to make our group classes accessible, they often aren’t for everyone. Group classes are designed for the group, but each participant is an individual.
We all have different bodies, skeletal structures, health histories, and daily lives. If you struggle in a general group class, it’s not your fault, and it’s not yoga’s fault. The issue is that general classes are made for most, but you are unique and special in your own way.
Trust me when I say yoga is for you. Maybe you haven’t found your practice yet, or maybe you’ve been struggling with it. I’ve been there too, feeling lost in my practice. That’s how Bee with Yoga was born. It’s all about letting you be with your practice, whatever that looks like for you. We’ll figure it out together.
My Approach
I believe yoga should be a practice of coming home to yourself. My role is to guide, listen, and support, not to push. Whether we meet in person or online, you’ll find a safe and welcoming space to explore what healing means to you.
My goal is to help you reconnect with your body and give you practical tools to carry a yogic approach into everyday life. When stress builds or challenges arise, you’ll know how to bring your yoga practice off the mat, so it’s there for you exactly when you need it most.
